Reflective materials for industry mainly refer to five levels of various reflective films, including high-strength reflective films, engineering reflective films, advertising reflective films and license plate reflective films. Various reflective signs and plates, vehicle number plates, safety facilities, etc., which are mainly used for making, play an obvious warning role in the daytime with their bright colors. At night or in the case of insufficient light, their bright reflective effect can effectively enhance people's recognition ability, see the target clearly, cause vigilance, so as to avoid accidents, reduce casualties, reduce economic losses, and become an indispensable safety guard for road traffic, It has obvious social benefits. With the development of national economy at any time, the traffic roads are developing very rapidly. With the rapid increase of highway mileage in China, the high-speed and informatization of highway traffic engineering has become the development direction. With the construction and development of urbanization in China, the urban environment and beautification have become the elements. There are more and more urban roads with all kinds of overpasses. At the same time, the ownership of various vehicles is growing, and the degree of traffic prosperity is growing day by day, Traffic management and traffic safety have been mentioned to a very important position. Strengthening traffic management and traffic safety, with the development of the national economy and the safety of people's lives and property, has become the consensus of everyone. Adding traffic signs, road traffic safety facilities, vehicle signs, and indicator signs is a very important part of traffic safety management. A foreign figure shows that the correlation probability between traffic and road signs and accidents is 70%. Bright and complete traffic and road signs can effectively reduce accidents and improve driving efficiency by providing drivers and pedestrians with good conditional reflection. According to the statistics of relevant departments, 81562 traffic accidents occurred at night nationwide in 1996, with 2535 deaths, accounting for 28.3% of the total number of deaths caused by traffic accidents. In the absence of lighting, the use of reflective materials to set up eye-catching traffic signs and plates, vehicle license plates, and wear clothes decorated with reflective materials can reduce traffic accidents by 30-40%. At present, China has about 200000 km of high-grade highways above Class II (including Class II), including 11000 km of expressways, about 50m2/km of film on average, and about 30m2/km of film on high-grade highways. The total mileage of highways open to traffic in China is 1.336 million km. Only 15400 km of new high-grade highways were increased in 1999, and about 12m km of film was used on ordinary highways, and the annual growth rate of highways of all classes is about 50000 km. During the "Tenth Five Year Plan" period, China's highways were five vertical and seven horizontal, and the total mileage of 12 national trunk highways was 35000 kilometers. By 2010, the western highway mileage will reach 350000 kilometers. In addition, many high-grade highways built in the early days are also being renovated, and a large number of reflective signs are also in urgent need of updating. In addition, China has about 60000 km of railway lines. With the requirements of new construction, reconstruction and train speed increase and the implementation of the Technical Conditions for Retroreflective Materials for Railway Signs (TB/T2929-1999), the use of high-strength films for railway signs is also being promoted. 7-8 square meters of membrane per kilometer (this is a conservative calculation). The annual membrane consumption in China is about 2.5 million square meters. By the end of 2010, the total amount of film used by roads and railways in China's market will be at least 25.6 million square meters, of which the amount of high-strength film will account for about 45% and will be 11.52 million square meters. As the reflective material is a periodic loss material, the reflective film needs to be renewed every 7-10 years. China is still increasing traffic investment, so the reflective film market shows a rapid upward trend. According to statistics, it is estimated that the annual increase of membrane consumption in China will not be less than 20% in the future. Secondly, the extensive use of forest belts, mountain belts, tourist attractions, docks, navigation and coastline has not been included in the statistics. All countries in the world, including our government, have formulated many relevant policies, which can be said to be mandatory. High strength film and series of reflective materials have become a trend in the application of highways, railways, shipping and many other fields.
